On November 30, 2006, Liftking Industries, Inc. was acquired by Manitex International, Inc. (previously known as Veri-Tek International, Corp.) - a leading North American manufacturer of engineered lifting equipment that operates in the $110 billion U.S. industrial machinery industry. The Company’s Manitex division is a major player in the $400 million North American Boom Truck Industry. The Manitex family includes: Manitex Boom Trucks, SkyCrane Aerial Platforms / Sign Cranes, and USTC Trolley Boom Products. The Manitex Liftking division (aka – Liftking Industries, Inc.) continues to manufacture a complete line of rough terrain forklifts and special mission oriented vehicles, as well as other specialized carriers, heavy material handling transporters and steel mill equipment which are utilized in the commercial and military markets. On August 1st, 2007, Manitex Liftking proudly announced the acquisition of the Noble rough-terrain forklift product line from GT Distribution, Inc. This complementary acquisition adds breadth to our existing Liftking rough-terrain forklift product line and provides access to Noble’s established dealer network.
